1. About these terms

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TownsPro™ website and platform (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

TownsPro™ is operated in England, United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean TownsPro™.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Waiting list

Joining our waiting list is free and does not obligate you to purchase a subscription. By joining, you agree to receive communications from us about the platform launch and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@townspro.co.uk.

4. Accounts and subscriptions

When the platform launches, registered traders will be able to create a profile and subscribe to a paid plan. Subscription details including pricing and billing frequency will be clearly displayed before you commit to any payment.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your login details with anyone else.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information on your profile
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without prior notice.

6. Trader profiles

Traders are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information. TownsPro™ does not verify qualifications, insurance, or certifications unless explicitly stated. Consumers should carry out their own due diligence before hiring a trader.

We reserve the right to remove or edit profiles that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

7. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

  • Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your profile will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion. If you are unhappy with the Service, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Intellectual property

The TownsPro™ name, logo, website design and content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Content you upload to your trader profile (photos, descriptions) remains yours. By uploading it, you grant TownsPro™ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and marketing the platform. This includes using your images and profile information in promotional materials, social media, advertisements, and sample profiles.

All images displayed on the platform may carry a TownsPro™ watermark. You agree not to remove, obscure, or alter any watermarks applied by TownsPro™. Third parties may not copy, download, or reuse any images from the platform without express written permission from TownsPro™ and the original content owner.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TownsPro™ shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service
  • Loss of business, revenue, or profits
  • Any dispute between a trader and a consumer arising from contact made through the platform
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
